UAE's 45^th National Day

Tuesday, 29^th November 2016, students, staff and parents celebrated the 45^th U.A.E. National Day at SIS-YAS Island. It was an opportunity for everyone to explore the culture and heritage of the U.A.E. through many activities and performances prepared specially for this event. 
The event started with the National Anthem proclaimed by our students, followed by local traditional dances, short plays and poems that expressed loyalty and gratitude to the U.A.E.
Soon after the performances, everyone had the opportunity to get engaged in several activities like horse-back riding, Henna, face painting, bouncing castles, a falcon show, traditional live cooking stations and many more.
This year’s celebration was also special with the participation of the K9-Police department and the Civil Defense who put on a beautiful show for students that demonstrated their professionalism and dedication to keep this country safe.
45^th U.A.E. National celebration at SIS-Yas Island was a memorable day. We thank all who contributed in making this event so successful.
