Baking Cookies

Our eager KG-1 bakers had the wonderful opportunity to show off their baking skills on September 25 It all started off with an introduction video the day before, explaining exactly the process that needs to be followed. The purpose of this activity was for learners to further enhance and develop their early Math skills, understand the value of team work and the importance of  kitchen safety. Together, in small teams, the KG-1s had to follow a recipe,  measure the exact ingredients and finally, they each had the opportunity to decorate their very own and unique cookie. It was amazing to witness the excitement and awe that they experienced. Afterwards, they all had the chance to enjoy their very own special and custom-made cookie. We are sure that these cookies were made with lots of love. This was definitely a fun day that we think will not be forgotten any time soon.
