Cultural Day

On Thursday, March 9, 2017, SIS-YAS held the first Cultural Day. This event is an opportunity to expose our students to different cultures, enhance their cultural awareness, and learn about the importance of harmony in a multi-cultural environment.

The event commenced with the U.A.E. National Anthem, followed by a fashion parade representing the 27 nationalities of students currently enrolled at SIS-Yas. Next up were the traditional performances by students, parents, and staff. Soon after, everyone enjoyed exploring and learning about different countries, cultures, and traditions. Many activities were available for the young kids like horseback riding, face painting, henna, etc.
