Cultural Day

On Thursday, March 9, 2017, SIS-YAS held the first Cultural Day. This event is an opportunity to expose our students to different cultures, enhance their cultural awareness and learn about the importance of cultural diversity and harmony.

The event commenced with the U.A.E. National Anthem followed by a fashion parade representing the 27 nationalities of students currently enrolled at SIS-Yas. Next up were the traditional performances by students, parents and staff. Soon after, everyone enjoyed exploring and learning about different countries, cultures and traditions. Many activities were available for the young kids like horseback riding, face painting, henna... etc.
