Recycling
Today we celebrated the recycling of the first 2 tons of paper.
According to Rick LeBlanc recycling one ton of paper saves 17 trees. Students at SIS-Yas Island have been actively involved in recycling paper since the beginning of the year. Students designed special recycling boxes that were placed in every classroom and office within our school. At the end of every day, prefects from grades 3 and 4 collect all the paper from these recycling boxes. Together we saved 34 TREES. We are very proud of our environmentally responsible students.
